Faridabad- One of Delhi's top property destinations

Faridabad, 25 km from the south of Delhi, has always been the industrial capital of Haryana and has gained momentum in the real estate sector recently. Sheltering corporate giants including the Indian Oil, Whirlpool, Mahindra Defense, Orient Fans, Larsen & Toubro etc, and Faridabad is also the centre for around 25000 small industries, mainly comprising of mechanical and engineering goods.


Located on the broad gauge of New Delhi – Mumbai, Faridabad can be accessed from the Hazrat Nizammudin Railway Station at 25 km. The railway network received a boost with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation planning to extend its services to Faridabad under its Phase III extension. With regards to air travel, local dwellers have to rely on the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. However, the robust network of Harayana roadways simplifies this problem by connecting Faridabad to all its nearby areas.

Apart from serving as a hub for several MNCs, the city is also in the process of tapping a huge real estate market. Many realtors aim at creating greener environments in Faridabad and the city already has the pride of sheltering huge realty projects such as Charmwood village, developed by Eros group and Piyush heights by Piyush group, Having said this, the rate of residential apartments range from Rs 3000 – Rs  8000 per sq ft.  However, there are apartments which can be bought at an average range of Rs 2500 – Rs 4000 in areas like Neharpar.

Needless to say that residential house (individual houses) rates have spiked in this industrial city. The rates have increased up to 13% with the highest price scoring at Rs 11000 sq ft. For investors looking at long term investment in plots, it would be interesting to note that the average price is at about 53,000 per yard.

Apart from its main completed projects including R P Society and Sai Township in Neharpar, the city also accommodates a few more important real estate projects.

Regards education, Faridabad has some of the most reputed schools including Aravali International School, Delhi Public School, DAV, Ryan International School, Manav Rachna International School etc.   Colleges like the Manav Rachna Dental College, Gold Field Institute of Medical Sciences & Research etc have made the city more prestigious.

Finally, Faridabad houses some of the most adventurous theme parks including Fun Zone, Aros den, Green valley farms and the Badhkal Lake.
